With all the updates, versions, builds, and mods It’s hard to believe how far Minecraft has come. Although the full game was released in 2011 it’s been available in Early Access since 2009. It’s easy to forget how much has changed since the game’s beginning. Thankfully, this trailer provides a stunning glimpse into what’s changed.

This is a fan-created recreation of the original Minecraft trailer. Redditor RedAdventurer11 posted an updated version of Mojang’s initial big trailer. It’s enjoyable to watch particularly when you compare it with its predecessor. Addictgaming It follows the exact way as the official version however, it showcases all the new features and biomes that have been added to the game in the last decade.

I have remade the original Minecraft trailer using the Minecraft we are using today! From Minecraft

It is a better way of promoting the game because of the new content. Additionally, as user LennyTheSpider has pointed out, RedAdventurer11 actually made a purpose of presenting the major updates in order. The section begins at about 58 seconds, and shows the ice spikes starting from 1.7 and ocean monuments from 1.8 and the end city fights from 1.9, and so on.

It’s a great little detail that helps to bring a sense of progress and time into the video. It’s also not something RedAdventurer11 was hoping people would take note of – but the Minecraft community never ceases to be awe-inspiring. This revitalised trailer is a delightful piece of nostalgia, and it’s difficult not to smile while watching it.
